On Wednesday, March 11th, I was driving home after subbing in to teach the students in our youth group. Like our Sunday morning gatherings, they have been in a series called "Wilderness Stories." The news that was reverberating across the sports world at the time was that an NBA player had tested positive for COVID-19. Shortly after, the NBA made the decision to indefinitely suspend their season. That was the moment when the whole crisis seemed to become real for me.

Afterwards, the dominoes began to fall quickly: the next night we made the decision to cancel our home group for the night. Two days later, on Saturday, we made the decision to suspend our Sunday services.
